It seems that Palito and Varita liked Brazil a lot.
And, although the animation festival (16th International Animation Festival of Brazil Anima Mundi 2008 -Anima Mundi Web- ) is now over, they decided to stay there a little bit more. So, if you are in Sao Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, chances are you will see them on the bus on the TVOut! screen.
Should someone see them, please let me know.
How am I making the sequel if they don't come back? ;P
I think an idea in progress can´t be stopped if you produce it with passion. What do you think?

My animated short film "Palito & Varita" keeps making me happy. This time, the news come from Brazil. More than 3,000 animated short films are taking part in this festival edition (16th International Animation Festival of Brazil Anima Mundi 2008 -Anima Mundi Web-), and the only short film from Argentina has been selected as a finalist. Yes, it is "Palito & Varita". =D
There are 20 finalists, and now any people can take part in the choosing of the winner.

It has been selected as a finalist - up with other 8 short films - in the Nontzeflash competition, and it will be screened in Bilbao Fantastic Film Festival (FANT 2008) on May 16th, 2008. The winner will be announced on that day.
So remember: If you live near and enjoy animated films, don´t miss the chance to see short films in the big screen.
